Great Camera System with Excellent Customer Support!
I recently purchased the Aosu camera system and, overall, I’m really impressed with the quality and performance. The cameras provide clear footage, and the setup was easy to follow. Unfortunately, one of the cameras didn’t work out of the box. However, I reached out to customer support, and Julie was incredibly helpful! She responded quickly, was very professional, and guided me through the troubleshooting steps. When it couldn’t be fixed, she arranged for a replacement right away.The prompt and efficient support really made a difference, and I’m now enjoying the full functionality of the system. Highly recommend this camera system, and kudos to Julie for making my experience a positive one!

Very Good Quality and Affordable
These cameras replaced a hard-wired set of Night Owl security cameras. I was one hundred percent sold on the idea of wireless cameras but thought I would give these a try. I have pleasantly surprised with this set. The picture quality is very good, even a night, and they properly react to human movement when set up in that mode. We had a couple of issues early on. First was a slow response on one of the cameras. This was determined to be a low Wi-Fi signal strength at that location. While slow if continued to work. Secondly one of the cameras that faces north had trouble keeping a charge. I contacted the seller, and they immediately sent me an extended solar panel with a 3-meter wired connection. So far, this problem appears to be mitigated. Also, the on-line service has been excellent.

Great Security cameras.
I purchased the “AOSU Security Cameras Outdoor Wireless, 4 Cam-Kit, No Subscription, Solar-Powered, Home Security Cameras System with 360° Pan & Tilt, Auto Tracking, 2K Color Night Vision” recently and am Very happy with the system. The picture/video quality is very clear, even with night vision. I love the fact that the camera rotates to follow anyone or anything moving within your desired movement zone, I’m attaching pictures showing how the camera followed me while walking my dog recently, they are screenshots from a couple of videos. It’s great that there’s no subscription needed as the included 32GB Home base has a lot of room for storage, but you can delete any unwanted videos or download the ones that you want to keep to your phone.If you’re on the fence about purchasing these, don’t hesitate, their customer service is outstanding also.

Easily Programmed & Controlled Remotely
Easily linked two cameras to base station and can control them remotely from phone app effortlessly. Amazing that such small cameras have such high resolution video, highly sensitive microphones, infrared night vision, automatic pan and follow functions, and more. Receive automatic notifications of motion, even coordinated following of persons entering property, moving from range of one camera to the other, and autosaves videos of intruders (deer, neighbors, cars with visible license plates).

Actually really decent and good.
I was initially not that convinced into getting a solar powered/battery camera due to my preconceived notion that having wired cameras would be better. Though after actually buying it and using it I now have a different outlook on it. The cameras themselves actually keep a really good charge and mine has never personally actually dipped below 90 percent as of right now even with it being active constantly. Overall its usefulness and decent quality make it a must have if wired cameras can’t be an option to choose from.

Love it
I love everything about this product. And the technical assistance, which I needed, is flawless. The tech walked me through the installation step by step with gracious patience. I swear you don’t need to know anything and they’ll hook you up!! The quality of the images is excellent even at night. And each camera has a siren which is easy to turn on with one tap on your phone screen, and just as easy to turn off. You can control cameras individually, and pan all around and up and down. I bought 4 cameras to cover everything I need, and I consider it an investment in my peace of mind. I could go on and on, but suffice it say I LOVE IT!!

Excellent product and customer service
The cameras and app integration work well and are easy to install/operate. My only issue is weak charging, which is mostly due to my own circumstances because the places that I could install the cameras lack direct sunlight. I asked Aosu hoping to purchase additional solar panels but to my surprise Lynette from customer service said they will send them free of charge, which is very generous.

Falls Short of expected performance
After years of hesitance, I felt that this AOSU design hits all the marks for ease application. Solar, Easy Wireless Connection, no minimum subscription etc. After nearly 2 months of use, I decided to share my experience.But first, CUDOS for making available a prompt customer service who follow through via phone and email.Cons of my experience:>There is a quick install prompt with QR codes etc. which worked rather well. However there is no published Owners Manual. So playing with functions and trouble shooting is trial & error, or another phone call. Publishing a User Guide would help us to determine suitability of this kit BEFORE I spent a day and a half to determine optimal locations and fabricating mounts – facing South.> You will only learn via customer service that the cameras only communicate directly through your home base (located near your router) and your WiFi extension booster has no effect. They recommend about 35 ft max distance from router to camera and a minimum 88% WiFi reception at each camera. ( I sometimes see as low as 44% but anything over 50% turns each camera’s WiFi staus from Red to Green.) That alone is impractical at my 1,400 sq ft Rancher with Stucco siding.>Playing with the Human Only feature (which eliminates false alerts from blowing landscape), and turning off the Auto Detection Range helped to greatly reduce jittery and intermittent tracking.> Regarding the 90 degree / 360 tracking. It is not a continuous 360 – there is a limit stop and the camera will not turn around a corner if it’s mounted with the limit stop inside a Right Hand corner. The app will read “Camera was at the limit” – I don’t think there is a fix for this. But even if there was……> Up close tracking is too slow. When we walk towards a camera at any normal pace, we walk out of the frame before it will face 90d down – much less track around a corner. At a slow crawl and waiving it will face down and at least start to turn but not continue -even if the limit stop is on the other side. This isn’t a function of WiFi strength and Customer Service says to wait and see if Firm Ware updates address this down the road. So I am missing much of the coverage I should have if the tracking performed as advertised.> Phone app occasionally locks up during playback or all together. Close app and starting over works.Pros;Customer Service did try to address some of this by sending me 1 No Charge replacement camera. I thought I might try to deploy it as a 5th camera to cover some of the now uncovered Gaps. However the homebase will only allow 4 cameras at a time. Apparently not expandable (So much for adding their Doorbell to this setup)> The alerts to the cell phone app are usually contemporaneous, but sometimes also lag. that may be other issues beyond the control of AOSU.Overall, I still like this product which is a big leap forward from when we had nothing. I believe half of the battle is for ill intentioned individuals to see 1. that the cameras are up – and 2. when they start tracking movement, those perps are greatly discouraged. I am hoping that future Firm Ware updates will alleviate at least some of these concerns – especially the close range tracking. But until then, 3 stars

Pretty good quality for the price.
I like that the installation is very simple and does not require a monthly plan to use. Took some to get the cameras to only see and record humans but a little tweaking and all is good. Cameras hold a charge well and rain has not affected the cameras.

Best Home Cameras-
Easy to install, high tech cameras. Best customer service. I ran into a problem with the camera solar panels didn’t face south to get the full suns rays. They sent me two additional external panels to face south taking advantage of the full sun free.

Received Good Customer Service
I was looking for home security cameras and didn’t want to go through the time and expense of installing a wired, grid-powered system. That led me to solar cameras. I purchased a two-camera, classic D1 system with homebase to go on two sides of my home that receive significant sunlight. The classic unit has a fixed solar panel, but only requires three, 15/64” holes for mounting.After installation and configuration, I noted that one of the cameras was behaving as expected, but the second camera didn’t want to alert to motion. It recorded one event and then stopped tracking. By going to live view in the app, the camera would happily see and track movement, but refused to perform automatically.After trying various setting changes and other simple things, I e-mailed AOSU Customer Service and described the problem. They got back to me the same day and we began troubleshooting the camera. Unfortunately, the unit consistently refused to record events or track movement unless in live mode. After a few attempts, AOSU offed to send a replacement camera. The new camera arrived, was easy to add to the system through the AOSU app and slipped onto the existing camera mount with no fuss.Overall, very happy with the camera system. I like having all the videos staying local and no monthly fees. The app offers a lot of utility and customization. AOSU costumer service was very helpful and responsive.

Great Cameras
These cameras have a great picture, they have great wifi range, and they’re super easy to set up. My whole family has the camera app on their phone and enjoy it. Night vision is also great. And not have to swap out batteries like with the blink system is awesome

Decent Security Camera with minimum maintenance
Solar-powered: This is really an advanced feature. No tangles with wires or worry about running out of battery. Even on cloudy days, the solar panel keeps it charged.Picture quality: I went with the 2K resolution option, and the video is nice with good details, both day and night. Night vision also good, you can make out details.Motion detection and alerts: I get notifications on my phone whenever there’s movement, and the camera even traces what’s moving. This has been helpful for keep watch on things, especially when away from home.set up: Easy to install this camera, The app is user-friendly too but only challenge one should have decent internet coverage with no breaks.weatherproof : so far so good no damage as such, even after some thunderstorms.will post some more pics after few months

The cameras are set to show the full perimeters of my home. I’m alerted when someone enters the property. I can see who entered the property and speak with them if I want. It does catch strong wind movements, but seems to be a great quality product.

Very clear image
The cameras are awesome. Easy set up. They are charged up even on a gloomy day. The image is very clear even at night. Just installed Security System
This is a top of the line security system with tons of features in the app. The hardest part of the installation process was figuring out where to place the cameras lol. It was effortless. Screw the base into where you want it to go, pop on the camera, hook up the cords to your router, and press the button under the camera, bing, bang, boom . . . you’re done! The camera in and of itself is a deterrent. I placed one in an area of my yard that covers my entire rear and side property. Now I have 3 left to use as I please and to make sure there aren’t any blind-spots in areas I might miss with a stationary camera. This is a fun system.

Great security camera for home
We ordered this set of solar-powered cameras for our new home. We wanted a set of solar-powered cameras so I bought this set. The picture is very clear. Any motion will set these cameras off if the motion is large. The automatic rotation of the camera is great. The app is really a nice plus to the system. And a router hub which comes with the system so you can watch the videos on your phone or wherever. I had some issue with the app and online support in the app was superb. Very helpful.

Little clipping of recording start
I purchased these cameras for watching dog walkers doing there business in my yard. So far I’m happy with it,I only wish the recording would start earlier. I have had some dealing with security cameras and those were watching continuely and when motion was triggered it would save 1-2 sec before trigger point. But at this price point I’m very happy i made the purchase.

Change of heart!
I recently purchased this system in hopes of deterring a harassing person, unfortunately it isn’t quite capable of delivering what I need.The circumstances in which this camera operates in all honesty, would overwhelm most systems. After using the system, I realized that it is a good system for the price, but it needs some improvement.My original review was not fair to the company, as I did not communicate my grievances with them.After the company immediately reached out to us after our review, I found them to be in a word, Awesome. Within 24 hours, I received a complete refund and I was completely astonished! I will be working with this company closely to help them to understand my situation as it relates to their system.The company is ” Home security “.The system is AOSU.For those considering a system for your home, this has really good features. You do however, need to be intimately educated about this system. Works Great!
Installed two units (8 cameras 2 base stations) at each of my homes. Installation and set up easy following provided directions. All cameras charge/ recharge to 100% with only a few hours of daylight. Multiple functions that you can select/deselect using the app. 32 gb base station ensures at least 30 day of continuous recording before looping. A good system with no external monitoring or subscription fees. Liked it so much I bought one for my brother for use at his house.

Good camera and customer support.
I have a CCTV camera system but after moving to a new home, I just didn’t have the motivation to run wires again. After searching a bit, I decided to go with AOSU’s 2 camera kit (ASIN: B0CNRFB9FP). A couple weeks of seeing what they could do and how well the solar maintained the battery, I purchased this add-on unit. To be honest there were some issues with the add-on. However, their customer service representative Lynette was quick to respond to my concerns and provide solutions. Already considering adding a fourth camera and looking forward to exploring other AOSU products.

Overall thoroughly impressed with this system. Set up was pretty easy and straightforward. Installation is super simple as well. I bought the four pack. Only using three so far. One is below an overhang and eventually wasn’t charging up. I asked the company what to do and Lynne sent me an external solar source that I just had time to put up today. The part under the overhang is now working perfectly.I get messages when people set off the devices pretty quickly. Very clear pictures.I first tried another “famous” company and had so many problems with terrible support that I gave up and returned them. Now I’m using these and am very happy.My opinion is that to say something is really a good product is if the service is good. Bad support makes a device useless. Excellent for the price!
For a camera that doesn’t come with a monthly service fee this one is pretty good. My only real complaint is the cameras’ pixelate pretty bad when zooming in, but unzoomed the picture is very clear. I do love all the features and the night vision. Also they have an alarm feature, a light feature and a voice feature. I’ve used the lights to navigate my property at night. They are pretty bright for a solar-powered camera. I’ve used the voice feature to talk to my mother and pets when away from home. The audio is choppy, but I think that is due more to the internet service and the fact I have the cameras placed a long way from the hub. I’m using wi-fi extenders, but they don’t do much. Still I’m very pleased with the cameras and they notify me regularly when there is movement on the property. They even catch rabbits sometimes at night that come in to nibble on the grass.

Astounding technology and performance at an extremely reasonable price!
I cannot believe how well these cameras work and how easy they are to set up! Have been looking for a solution to monitor our home for awhile – figuring eventually I’d find something that appealed to me. When I saw this Aosu offering – with solar power, no wires and operating via Wi-Fi – I knew I had found a product worth trying. I purchased the 4 camera system and installed them around the 4 corners of my home… 2 to the actual house and 2 in trees looking back towards the house for complete coverage. I do have a premium router (eero) and my wifi works everywhere in my yard. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Solar keeps these cameras completely charged, picture quality is fantastic both day and night, and the ability to adjust the camera up-down-sideways is a game changer. They can be adjusted to detect movement – any movement or just a human- have sound and you can talk through them – even activate a siren if need be! Mine have recorded for weeks and the included storage base seems limitless…Contacted customer service about a minor issue with one camera after the first month (lens was fogging up) and they replaced it free of charge – no questions asked!New businesses selling products take note. AOSU rocks it.Completely Satisfied – Veteran Approved! Try them – you won’t regret it.If you are reading this – little Brother – Buy them already!!

I love the monitoring that this camera system gives us. We use the solar panel option but it has that option and wired. You can have both options in place incase of weather that doesn’t premit. We haven’t had any issues with the placements we have chosen. The battery life seems to last a long while when the weather doesn’t permit. When you using the app you have many options to change the camera to your needs. We use the people tracking options to alert us of people around mostly for amazon packages. lol

Nice camera system!
Super easy to install and set up. Cameras working great so far. I did have an issue where I know I should have had an event and none could be found in the app but I tested the camera and it knew I was there. So the problem was probably with the home base not saving/recording the event. I researched the app a little and found the ‘clear events history’ button and tried that and boom… everything started working again. So far no other issues. Love the features on this camera system. Easy install, set up and use. No subscriptions!!! Nice quality pictures, 2 way audio. Thanks AOSU! Looks like AOSU is upcoming company and learning FAST! Hope they continue to do well. Will support their efforts in the future!

The range is pretty short.
These cameras from professional working in that industry are fantastic. They work well they’re easy to install they have great visuals and great features. And while I had a problem with one of mine the customer service is absolutely top-notch and they took care of me very quickly. The only downside I can give is it doesn’t really matter how good your Wi-Fi is this particular set works on the signal granted from their gateway which is rather limited. In the picture I uploaded the camera on the right has a 70% signal while the one on the left had 0 percent. They have since replaced that and that one on the left now has a 40% that’s still a very steep drop off for 4 in.

Good camera system
I was looking to buy camera system without breaking a bank. I purchased package of four solar cameras and door bell camera from aosu. I’m very pleased with it. One camera stopped self charging after only two months which was disappointing, but when I contacted manufacturer Aosu representative Lynette was very helpful and caring. Lynette send me right away plug-in solar panel so that camera with bad solar panel could charge and function. I like this camera system and just because one failed to do the job as design I am confident the product will pass the test and do the job as design. After all support service is world class! I am thinking to add few more same cameras to the system. Camera and solar panel on the top as a whole unit looks really good. Motion sensor is excellent and it will monitor movements as promised. Night vision is very good. Of course there are few more features like alarm sound, light, microphone and speaker so you can communicate with the person outside. I would recommend this camera system it’s good and price is reasonable.

Excellent Wireless Camera System
I purchased this particular 4-Cam system due to the solar panel and camera being all in one; although this will limit your camera placement since you need to make sure the solar panel gets enough sunlight to be able to charge. I get plenty of sunlight where I live so I was able to place them in the needed locations. I do like the fact that I am able to adjust the camera via the AOSU app for the proper angle without having to constantly go up and down a ladder. Set up is simple enough as long as you make sure to charge each camera BEFORE installing via the AOSU app. Sync instructions were easy to follow, just take your time. I advise to make sure each camera is working properly BEFORE going up a ladder to install. I was able to charge and sync each camera to the Home Base and each camera performed a SW update once connected. Once installed in your desired location, you can point your camera using the app. There was only one issue I ran into and it happened to be that one of the 4 cameras would not get a sufficient wireless connection no matter how many times I removed and resynced. I contacted AOSU and was able to address the problem with Julie who first advised me with some troubleshooting steps to see if it would resolve the issue; but that particular camera would still not obtain a sufficient Wi-Fi signal strength to work. Julie was able to send me a replacement camera and all 4 are working great. As for the software, the AOSU app allows you to rename each camera so as to better identify them. You can set the resolution, motion detection, notification settings and more. I like that the app notifies me via an alert and the cross-camera tracking is pretty good as well. You can view all cameras at once via the app and can see the battery level and when each camera is being charged via sunlight. Motion sensitivity is good and all recording events are saved to the Home Base which is a plus for me. This 4 Cam-Kit really impressed me. Although I do believe wired camera systems are superior to wireless, this system is an excellent alternative.

Easy Setup
I have been using my AOSU wireless outdoor security cameras for a couple of months now. I wanted to wait to do my review once I had time to use the cameras and give them the complete test. From the time of installation and setup (which was VERY EASY) until now, the cameras have performed excellent. The picture is clear in the daytime or at night. I get notifications on my phone whenever there is motion at any of the four cameras that I have. In addition, I receive notifications from my AOSU doorbell camera which I purchased at the same time and it integrates with the other cameras too and app. The cameras stay fully charged from the solar panels each of the cameras have. I especially like being able to go back and look at any recordings without needing a paid subscription to a service. This is one of the main reasons why I purchased these cameras. I am surprised by all the activity in my neighborhood that is captured by the cameras that I normally wouldn’t be aware if I didn’t have them. Great product and I would recommend these cameras to anyone who is looking for quick and easy setup along with excellent performance!

Fantastic Range!
I have a digital billboard, I use these to monitor the billboard without being on site. The home base is able to receive great signal through a concrete building and over 100′ away. I can not speak to the longevity of the cameras at this point. But I am extremely impressed with the video quality and range at this point. Setup was extremely easy to accomplish as well.

This is a great 4 camera motion-triggered security cam package at a reasonable price. Easy to install and start up. Many options to customize each camera’s settings, all done with a smart phone app. Video and audio quality are excellent, including remote speaking ability. Automatic alarm option. Notification of events via your cell phone occurs quickly. Live camera feeds on cell phone. Solar power eliminates need for batteries or hard wiring. Ample event memory in base unit, with ability to delete events no longer needed. No cloud or live service contract required. Automatic motion tracking. Lighting comes on when motion is detected at night.

Best security cameras by far
We replace our old security cameras with this set. Wow, what a difference. The picture is great and the functionality for the money is perfect. Easy to set up and install and you can share the app with family members. The cameras auto-follow anything that comes into its view and the night pictures are great and clear. The solar recharge works great too. They arrive at about 50% and even being placed in a position without direct sunlight (and we’ve had rain and clouds over the past week) all of the units charged to full.

Excellent Quality Security Cameras
These cameras have exceeded my expectations! The installation was straightforward, and the image quality is amazing. It has a night mode that makes the pictures clear despite low lighting. It’s the real deal
When I saw the price tag I wasn’t so sure, but I was thinking about my family and the long run and I don’t want to buy these ever again so I spent the extra money and oh boy oberto I’m glad I did. if you’re thinking about your family’s safety then this is a great investment.Pros:•Very responsive to any movement•Easy to setup software and use app•Ability to set a default view to ensure the angle goes back to its default placement after tracking.•Solar Powered•Very powerful alarm system if you want on or off, extremely useful for large properties looking to deter trespassers as the alarm is VERY loud and can be heard from the camera.•Night vision•Real time event notifications with auto recording•Real time voice communications through each individual camera with voice changer (Super cool)•User friendly app, very simple settings and easy to check if each device (including the home modem) needs a software/firmware update as well as changing the names of each device (including the home modem) and accessing the old footage of each deviceCons:•Almost too responsive to movement, my driveway has a flag that moves and we get small rabbits here and there so be prepared for a lot of false alarms. Just be wary of outside ornaments like flags, windmills and bird feeders etc. this can be fixed by making any necessary adjustments to your property•After moving a camera from its default view I noticed sometimes it doesn’t move back so I have to manually adjust the camera back to its original angle. So be mindful when you’re playing around with the angle, you might have to move it back, no big deal.•Cameras do NOT come fully charged, they must FIRST be charged THEN placed in their respective locations of your choosing, instructions say, very important.•Alarm system is so powerful I find it unnecessary for my home, I have almost 2 acres of property – live in the countryside and have only 2 neighbors within 500 feet and the alarm can be heard from their homes and beyond, especially when it’s quiet and there’s no cars running.•Camera might need to be mounted on a separate base for best results. As you can see in my picture I had to get handsy in the garage and cut a few small blocks of wood about 3 1/2inch x 3 1/2inch and screwed them together, then screwed on the base where the camera slides on and latches onto. It’s very important to scope out your house first and see if the cameras will first of all, get enough sunlight for the whole day, and secondly you want to make sure you build the correct base according to whatever size your property might require. As you can see I had to screw freakin 3 blocks of wood together to get my camera Sticking out far enough past the gutter to be where I needed it. So be prepared to work.Conclusion:Pros far outweigh the cons which mainly consists of complaints about certain aspects of the practicality of the camera like the wood base mounting and camera not going back to its default view after I change angles but that’s fine, they work and they work very well. All in all I say it really is a solid 5/5 since they also have more devices on the market that can easily be added to your camera family.

Excellent product, outsanding value, and superb customer service!
I have been looking at security cameras for my small business for a while now. Most things I tend to DIY. A low-impact installation was driving factor in my decision to purchase this 4 camera set from Aosu. The integrated solar panels of these cameras meant full wireless capability. The only wires involved were an ethernet cable to connect the receiver for these cameras to our network, and the power cable for the receiver. The cameras being solar powered meant no need to run power to their individual installation sites.Ease of installation – The cameras use a snap-in mounting bracket. The bracket is secured to the mounting surface, and the cameras simplay snap onto the bracket once it’s installed. You don’t have to juggle a drill/bit driver and these cameras at the same time when you’re installing them. Most security cameras are installed off of a ladder, so the easier the work is while you’re on the ladder the safer it is.Video quality – Picture quality is outstanding. Not just at this price point either. Day or night, the resolution is high enough to identify faces and license plates from 30-50 feet. You can zoom in on the video and still have decent resolution for details.Durability – Yet to be determined. Before installing the cameras I set them outside with the solar panels pointed towards the south western sky for a few days. I wanted to be sure the cameras started out with 100% charge before installing them. These cameras were rained on a couple of times during that initial charging period. They are advertised as IP 65 rated, which means (6) pretty much dust proof and (5) sealed to low pressure water spray from any direction (but not full immersion). Rain and general outdoor conditions shouldn’t be an issue. The solar panels did charge the cameras fully in those 3 or so days. The cameras were left off during this time. After installing the cameras they functioned as advertised. I expect durability to be outstanding, but only time will tell.Battery life/solar panel effectiveness – Two of the cameras were installed in shaded areas with zero direct sunlight. Typically, this is not a good idea for solar-powered/charged equipment. After 1 week, starting from 100% charge, These two cameras are at 78% and 82% charged. I expected them to deplete within a few days. The other 2 cameras see several hours of direct sunlight each day and stay fully charged. There are some remote solar panels available on Amazon if your cameras have to be installed in a shaded area. See the next section before you purchase them though.Customer service – When I received my camera set there was a card inside warning not to install the cameras in a shaded area. The card was worded like I could contact Aosu and they would provide a remote solar panel for these locations on request. So I emailed Aosu about it. On a Saturday. Within a few hours I had a reply. They wanted to know my Amazon order number to verify the purchase, and my shipping address. They sent me 2 extra solar panels AT NO CHARGE! They arrived within a few days. I understand them not wanting to include these extra solar panels with the camera set. Many, if not most, people won’t need them. But to offer them at no extra cost or even shipping cost I was not expecting. I received regular emails from Aosu concerning these solar panels as well. They seem to want satisfaction for their customers and are willing to put in the extra effort/expense that somtimes requires. They now have a dedicated customer from me as a result.The app – Too many products are destroyed by a sub-par app for the product interface. The Aosu app was painless to install, hasn’t frozen or suddenly closed once, and is easy to learn and navigate. Setting up alert notifications for each camera, including an option for time windows for these notifications, is done through the app. I purchased these cameras as an after-hours security supplement for outside my business. I have other cameras inside for shoplifting and general security during business hours. What I didn’t want, or need, was to be alerted with a phone notification every time a car drives by during business hours. What I wanted was to be alerted when people were walking in the immediate area of my business outside of normal business hours. I had a window broken in my store front by some fatherless children a few months back. My inside cameras didn’t catch anything since they didn’t enter the building. Still, my window was broken and these little hoodlums were never caught. None of the other businesses had outside cameras either. The app being set up with notifications outside of business hours, plus the camera footage, would have allowed me to call police quickly and to have evidence of the vandalism taking place.Motion detection and Tracking – These cameras being able to rotate 360 degrees and tilt up and down is a feature I didn’t know I needed. Not only these features, but the ability for these cameras to auto-track with movement greatly reduces the “out of frame” issue with static cameras. Through the app you can manually control the camera movement as well. I set the cameras to look in the direction I wanted. They track movement as advertised. When the event is over, they return to the original viewing direction that I set. I wasn’t expecting that either. Otherwise, some random event could move the camera in a direction that doesn’t concern me, and then another later event goes unnoticed by the camera where it does concern me. The motion detection of any camera is never unlimited. Having the camera return to a “home base” position that I set through the app is exactly what is needed. The motion detection works very well, even out to 50 feet or so.Audio – The microphone on the camera picks up normal conversation level noise out to around 20-25 feet. If louder, it will detect noise further away. The audio clarity is very good. I do like the fact that I can also speak through the camera. I’m not sure in what scenario I need that capability, but it is a neat feature. And you can understand what someone is saying through the camera speaker better than a drive-through speaker.Value – The price point for this package provides an outstanding overall value. These aren’t the absolute best security cameras you can buy. I do believe though that you can spend several multiples of the cost of this system and get less. Like I said, I have been researching solar powered wireless camera systems for a few months. A friend of mine purhcased a set of these Aosu cameras for his home. He showed me on his phone how well they worked. I was able to see for myself that they were a quality setup. The price of roughly $100/camera is not a huge investment. A plate glass window for a store front costs A LOT more than this camera system did. My decision was made, so I purchased this set. I couldn’t be more pleased with the value, performance, and customer service.No Monthly Fees – I am allergic to monthly fees and subcriptions. They are death by a thousand cuts. This system having roughly 30-day storage (32gb) on the receiver with no monthly fees is another reason I even considered this purchase. Aosu does offer a relatively low cost cloud storage option if you want to keep videos longer than 30 days. I have no need for that for this system’s intended use. I can download videos of captured events as needed. The mundane, non-event captured events get auto-deleted.Security – Being wireless I suppose these cameras are vulnerable to hacking, just like anything else that is wireless. There isn’t any information about encryption of the wireless wifi signal between these cameras and the receiver. All that was shown to be encrypted was the data on the receiver. If I were concerned about a sophisticated thief/burglar that could hack a wifi signal, I would go with a closed circuit, wired system. It’s a lot harder to physically hack a closed, wired network than it is a wireless signal. But, any system is only as strong as its weakest link. There are 2 independent camera systems now for my business. This system was purchased just for outside security, more or less for property damage and vandalism. The inside of the business has a separate camera system that is tied into my security alarm. That camera system is for break-ins and theft. No security system is perfect, without weaknesses and vulnerabilities. This system is a great starting point. It is infinitely better than NO camera system. Even if you decide to upgrade later to a closed circuit system or something more sophisticated/secure, this system will do much better than just get you by until then.

Great Set of Cameras!
We ordered this set of solar-powered cameras for our new home. We previously had a wired system which was stationary. So, we wanted to get something for our new house. My husband wanted a set of solar-powered cameras so I bought this set.First of all, they are fantastic! They follow a recognized subject using AI technology. This takes a bit of getting used to since you’re always being spied on…and listened to.The picture is very clear. Any motion will set these cameras off if the motion is large. We have trees in wind setting them off. The rotation of the camera is about 180 degrees left/right and up/down. This is very helpful when something comes closer to the camera. The microphone can pick up small sounds as well as regular speech. This is good.Also, there is a downloadable app for our phones to view the camera events. This is really a nice plus to the system. And a router hub which comes with the system so you can watch the videos on your phone or wherever.One of the cameras which came in the set only moved up and down. I received the camera set on a Sunday. I used the support chat and received help immediately. I tried everything which the AI generated “tech” recommended. Then a real person came on to help and the camera still didn’t work properly. So, “Ann” sent my issue to her managers. By the NEXT morning, I had a text message on the AOSU app stating a new camera was on its way in a few days. Actually, it came in 2 days. I was able to delete the old camera from the app and apply the new one by following the steps I took to set up the cameras in the first place. (Note: no instructions were given to set up the new camera with an existing set. I’m a bit tech savvy, so I was able to do this easily.)I am definitely recommending this set of cameras to anyone who has a need for monitoring their property or household. The customer service is great! “Ann”, the tech, was great! I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience, so I’ll end here.Thanks Ann from AOSU!!!
