Pretty good so far
No complaints. It’s a bit small and doesn’t have a caps lock and then screen is matte so it’s weird to use as a touch screen but it still works. It’s very light and the battery lasts moderately long. The speakers are good and it’s usually pretty fast.

This laptop is really nice. It is light weight and pretty. The screen is very crisp clear and a great size for watching videos. I may have to get another for myself. So far we are absolutely love this laptop. I actually prefer this one over my expensive laptop.

Beautifully sleek and responsive Chromebook!
I already owned a smaller Lenovo Chromebook that I snagged off of eBay for under $100, but it wasn’t playing some videos anymore and was generally slow. But I do love Chromebook! Whenever I’ve purchased computers in the past (a few Apple, one HP), I always ended up using the Chrome browser anyway. Plus, I learned that Chrome is basically Linux, probably one of the most secure systems other than Apple, but we are not there sadly LOLThere is no downloading or joining anti-virus software because that protection is already built in to the OS. The setup takes a few minutes, but surely we can find something to do during that process.I had a touchscreen on the old one, but honestly…..I found it annoying. If I wanted to scroll or expand the screen etc, it wasn’t always responsive, but when I just brushed it accidentally with my fingers, it dumped me over to another page, typically to an ad. So I will not miss the touch screen! I’ve always used a mouse or the scroll buttons anyway in the past, so it took a minute for me to stop touching the screen. LOLI don’t know if this Chromebook has enough guts for gaming, but that’s not my thing. It does everything I need it to. Did I mention I love the dark blue color?

Different but nice.
Like the size and screen. Keyboard will take a bit of time to get use to. I put a piece of cardboard over the right side numbers to keep my hands (fat fingers) in position for typing on the smaller keys. Things never stay the same and that’s good 👍

This chromebook was very affordable and ran well, but the screen is very low quality with washed out colors. I purchased this for my father and returned it because he didn’t like the screen and had a harder time reading the text on the screen due to the quality.

Decent performance but horrible screen
The laptop functions as it should , 8 GB RAM making it relatively snappy even with multiple Chrome tabs open. However the screen quality is subpar. I do not think it is even IPS, the viewing angles are awful, reminding one of cheap Chromebooks from around 2015. The display is also very cold with a noticeable blue tint. Even running it in night light mode does not help much.So unfortunately this does not work for me, and it is a return.

First chromebook
This is the first lenovo and chromebook that I buy. I used to use windows hp and thought the endless updates were the norm until I was recommended this.At first glance, it looks good. The touchpad is responsive, keys aren’t clacking loud, not too heavy. And it was very easy to set up. The screen looks good too.That said, haven’t fully used it yet and will update as to how the performance and battery life will go.That said, right out of the box; I don’t know if it’s touchscreen or not. If it is, then either I haven’t enabled it or the screen is not sensitive enough to register a touch.Update:I got the laptop in September third and charged it that evening. From then to now I left it on sleep mode and haven’t touched it since. Today I open it up and am surprised that it’s still at 90%~ charge. That’s bonkers to me, my old one would doe within three hours of sleep mode.Still I’ll update on the battery once I get to properly use it.As for the screen, it is not touch screen.

Nice Chromebook! I bought it for half the price as an Amazon Renewed item and it arrived in perfect condition and to my surprise it came in the original box (it was open but sealed with tape) so I assume someone bought it and maybe used it for like a couple of hours and said “I don’t like it” or something.Pros: Huuuge screen, you can perfectly watch a movie or videos here and in good quality. The screen is not perfect but for this price it is awesome.- Battery: I’ve been using it for a couple of hours now with the full charge and so far with medium brightness settings it has consumed around 40% and I’ve been watching videos, browsing internet etc. OH btw it only took 1 hour or maybe less to fully charge it.- Numeric keyboard babyyy! Huge screen and great keyboard, keep in mind it’s not backlighted so better look for a place with enough light to use it.- ChromeOS: This OS is packed with more than enough apps and features for a person who simply enjoys scrolling through the internet, read emails, check the weather and of course multimedia. If you’re coming from Windows, don’t give up on it trust me it is an awesome OS and you have embedded options such as Google Workspace and GDrive to carrry around your files not just on the laptop but on your cellphone, regardless of your phone OS (Android – iPhone)—————————-Cons:This processor is a basic option to browse the web and basic stuff, heavy Android apps will probably experience lag, so beware that heavy apps may affect performance on the system. If you’re planning on downloading games or something like that, maybe this is not your option.Screen isn’t the best, some colors can look washed out… Remember you get what you paid for, if you want a better screen then you will probably have to spend a little more.

There’s always trade-offs
After using my wife’s Chromebook off and on for a couple of years, I decided that a Chromebook would suffice to eliminate an old Win 8 laptop that really should have been retired much sooner. One factor that came into play here was that I have a 2021 Lenovo PC for multimedia work, and really like it. Been very impressed with how far things have come with some of these companies.Our first Chromebook had 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, which was fine, but I tend to do more multimedia stuff so I wanted more RAM and a number pad. This machine was the only one that matched those specs, with 8GB RAM, number pad and very good processor compared to many others at the price point.I’ve had the machine 24 hours, and this is my immediate reaction…- I could have done without the number pad in favor of a symmetrically aligned keybed with full sized TAB key. The TAB key on our other Chromebook is 2.5 cm. This one is 2 cm. That might not seem like much, but it is messing with my typing speed. Likewise, the off center keybed puts my left hand right on the edge of the case which is not very comfortable. Still need to try some longer writing sessions to see how this fares. For someone with smaller hands, this might not be a concern.- I still can not rename the Chromebook Device ID, despite using all of Google’s help suggestions, so I have logged a ticket with Lenovo. As a power user, I don’t like that I can’t easily access this feature from my Google account.Due to the typing comfort issue, I have considered returning this machine. But I want to see if I can get used to it. I am also ordering a Bluetooth mouse that has a built-in transceiver. The one I have now uses a dongle, which juts out and prevents easy storage in my bag.UPDATE: I’ve had this two solid weeks and I hate the keyboard design. It actually hurts my hand to use this machine. The left-hand side of the keyboard forces you to impale yourself with the edge of the case to get anywhere near a productive typing posture. I really tried to get used to this, but the laptop is getting returned for that reason alone. As if that was not enough, the connection to my WIFI printer mysteriously stopped working after two weeks. Even after a powerwash, I couldn’t not get this working again, and then the Bluetooth mouse connection stopped working as well. It’s a shame really, because this machine has decent specs – but none of that matters of the design is poor. Glad I kept the box.

I have downloaded movies from Netflix onto the memory card, want to see if the extra video ram makes a discernable difference. Good Lenovo build quality. Does the moderate stuff I need well. Had issues joining a hotel wifi network but I put that on the Chrome OS

Great Chromebook!
Was not sure what to get in a Chromebook, so I got the Lenovo hoping it would suffice. Blown away when I got it considering the price – very nice screen, not the fastest thing on Earth but plenty fast for my purpose (email, internet, word processing, and Zoom calls). If you told me this thing cost $1,000 I would believe it, but at the price I paid on the Prime Day sale, it’s a steal.

Decent laptop
Not sure why but I got this same laptop in September and it was not touch screen so when I purchased it again (after a cup of water mishap with the lap) I was surprised that it was a touchscreen after all. Touchscreen is very sensitive. Apps seem to have a hard time loading sometimes and Netflix will close itself out after a little while. I like how it does connect to your gmail, so all of my stuff from my other laptop was transferred over even the screen saver. I believe it’s a tad over priced for the quality of the laptop. It’s a good easy laptop for college students (that’s mostly what I use it for)The shipping for two days was crazy to be honest $80. So I payed a total of $400 for this laptop.I will say keep cups of any liquids away from it and make sure you clean your keypad of dust etc. My last one got a cup of water spilt on it and automatically fried with no chance of drying it out or saving it.

Pleasantly Surprised
Bought during Amazon Prime Day for $199. Great deal and I’m very pleased with the easy set-up and overall performance. I love the keyboard, especially the number keyboard. I bought this on the first day of Prime Day and it must have been very popular as on the second day of Prime Day it was listed for $276. If you want something simple to use with not a lot of extra bells and whistles, this is a great buy. I was able to convert my excel and PDF files with ease. I love using Google Chrome (I don’t like Microsoft Edge) to access my files and websites. The only negative I can say is that it doesn’t have the clearest screen at times, but that doesn’t really bother me that much. I have watched some YouTube videos and they have been pretty clear for the most part. For the price, you really can’t beat it!!!

Surprised how much better LIFE is without Windows and all its bugs
Chrome is my OS. WITHOUT Windows and all its many problems, I am actually enjoying my work with my Lenovo Laptop with Chrome as my operating system. I am overwhelmed with the awesome experience of my battery lasting for 10 or even 12 hours. Windows on my other laptop slows everything, routinely has bugs to fix. But I just grew tired of Windows updates, without my choice involved, that reinstalled MS Edge as my browser. I hate Edge. Windows updates would also change my choice in web search. I enjoy Google Search and Windows updates would change it to Yahoo search or something else. If Windows Updates have been working on your last nerve, then I suggest a Chromebook or a Lenovo laptop with Chrome as your operating system.

Died in less than a day.
Opened the package, fully charged it and set up the laptop, and installed a couple updates. Turned it off, went to bed…. woke up and it would not turn on or charge, totally dead!! Contacted Lenovo support, online chat and nothing worked. Tried to call to speak to a human and was on hold for over 45 minutes, and I called at 805am est (customer service Opened at 800am est). Made contact with Amazon online chat support and after about 30 more minutes and 4 different support people I received a refund. Very happy with Amazon customer service, not so much Lenovo. A little bummed out because I got a great prime day deal and now I have to pay a bit more to order another… oh well. I have had several Lenovo products over the years and never had issues, guess I got a lemon??!!

No backlit keyboard
I purchased this for home use – Lenovo 3i-15 – no gaming or heavy duty computing and it is ok for my needs. There is no backlit keyboI really wanted – I am disappointed about it because everything said it had one. Had to go thru 2 Amazon techs and 2 Lenovo techs to figure it out. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy – response time is good and battery is really good – lasts all day.

Lenovo 3i is very good
I bought this for my wife, along with a special protective cover. The nicest feature she comments about is the size of the keyboard with a separate keypad to the right. That keypad helps her to enter numbers, which is a feature she needs more often than she thought. The screen is also large and quite readable for her.

Chromebook is for google people
The screen resolution is low, and the size was what I wanted.The Google features were overwhelming and controlling. It requires you to stay logged into gmail which to me is not a secure feature. It won’t let you change browsers, again too controlling. If I was more tech savvy and knew this before hand I would have never purchased it.

ChromeOS user since 2015
Just received it today. 15.6 screen size is good and bright enough for the price range. Intel CPU is OK so far, and the 8GB RAM is great. 64SSD HD is a plus. Has Android apps. I switched to Chrome from Windows in 2015 and I have not gone back. Chrome OS is 10x better and safer than Windows. The build quality feels very good for the price range. The Google end of updates date for this is June 2031. I’m happy with this purchase.

It works properly like any good Chromebook. The larger screen is nice. tap is sensitive.But, the battery is crap! I have been working it for 3 days and beside the initial charging, I have had to recharge it three times and the calculater shows 100% and 7.5 hours left! Not anywhere the 10 hours that advertise!

Nice machine
I gave it 1 star for a touch screen because it is not a touch screen. I enjoy this computer. it is fast and the screen is sharp. I highly recommend this item.

Super basic, had to return it, if I was just planning to use 1-2 window tabs at a time it’d be perfect but anymore then that then I would upgrade
